Support Greater Progress with Kids+ Intensive Therapy
When a child is ready to make a big leap forward, intensive therapy can be the key to unlocking faster, lasting progress. At Kids+, our NDIS-funded Intensive Therapy programs are designed to deliver high-frequency, focused therapy over a short timeframe, giving children the repetition and momentum they need to achieve meaningful goals.
What is Intensive Therapy?
Intensive therapy at Kids+ is exactly what it sounds like: concentrated sessions delivered across five consecutive days, or three days per week over two weeks, for two hours per day. This immersive, evidence-based, approach allows children and their therapists to build on each session, reinforcing new skills before they have a chance to fade. The result is accelerated progress that might otherwise take months to achieve through standard therapy.
Who is it for?
Our Intensive Therapy programs are open to both new and existing Kids+ clients and are suitable for babies, infants, and children of all ages. Each program is completely tailored to the individual child, with goals developed collaboratively with families to ensure the focus is meaningful and motivating. The environment is playful, fun, and designed to bring out the best in every child.
What goals can we work on?
The possibilities are as broad as your child's needs. Previous intensive therapy goals have included developing independent sitting, improving head control, toileting, dressing, self-feeding, walking skills, bike riding, playground skills, communication device use, Sport & Recreation, and so much more. Our experienced allied health team works with you to find the right goal and the right approach.
