Kids+ Scholarships – Supporting Education & Employment
At Kids+, our commitment to the young people we work with doesn't end when therapy does. The Kids+ Scholarship Program is designed to create meaningful, long-term opportunities for current and former Kids+ clients — helping them pursue tertiary education and build pathways to employment.
Two Scholarships, Two Pathways
Kids+ offers two distinct scholarships, each tailored to different goals and life stages:
The Allied Health Tertiary Education Scholarship supports participants undertaking a Bachelor, Diploma, or Certificate qualification in an allied health related field. Valued at $2,500 per annum for full-time study (or $1,500 for part-time), the scholarship is available for the duration of course enrolment up to four years. All successful recipients are also paired with a Kids+ mentor to support them throughout their studies.
The Pathways to Employment Scholarship supports participants in accessing paid employment or establishing and growing a business they own or directly benefit from. Valued at up to $2,500 per annum for up to two years, this scholarship is awarded on merit and is aligned with Kids+'s broader purpose of creating real opportunities for the young people they serve.
A Program Built on Belief
The scholarships reflect something fundamental to how Kids+ operates: a genuine belief in the potential of every person with a disability to achieve, contribute, and thrive. Past recipient Jake Richardson is one example of what's possible, having gone on to meaningful employment following support from the Pathways to Employment Scholarship.
How to Apply
Both scholarships are awarded through a merit-based application process. Please contact us for a copy of the relevant application form. Full terms and conditions and eligibility criteria are available by clicking here.
