Inclusive Sport & Recreation Programs at Kids+
Every child deserves the chance to move, play, and take part in the activities they love. At Kids+, we are passionate about making sport and recreation accessible to all children and young people, regardless of ability. Through our NDIS-funded Sport & Recreation programs, we support children to get active, build confidence, and experience the joy and social connection that comes with being part of something.
Why Sport and Recreation Matters
The benefits of sport and physical activity go far beyond fitness. For children with disability, supported participation in sport can improve physical health, build self-esteem, develop social skills, and open doors to community connection. At Kids+, we take a therapy-informed approach to sport and recreation, ensuring every child is supported to participate in a way that works for them.
Our Programs
We offer a diverse and exciting range of sport and recreation programs throughout the year, catered to a variety of ages, interests, and abilities. Each program is thoughtfully designed by our allied health team to support individual goals while keeping the focus on fun, inclusion, and participation. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to build on existing skills, there's a place for them at Kids+.
Our Sport & Recreation programs include Snow Camp, Surf Ed, Wheely Fun, Aquatic Therapy, and Bike Ed, alongside support to access local community sports, swimming, gym-based activities, and more. We can also assist with Para Classification information and help identify the right equipment to support your child's participation, such as frame running gear, bikes, and trikes.
