Inclusive Snow Camp for Children and Young People
Snow Camp at Kids+
For many children and families, the snow can feel out of reach — but at Kids+, we believe every young person deserves the chance to experience it. The Kids+ Snow Camp is a supported, inclusive program that introduces young people with disability to the mountain environment, snow sports, and the pure joy that comes with it.
What is Snow Camp?
Snow Camp is a partially NDIS-funded program delivered by Kids+ physiotherapists and occupational therapists, run in partnership with Disabled Wintersport Australia and assisted by Falls Creek Guides. Together, this experienced team creates a safe, welcoming environment where young people and their families can explore skiing and snowboarding at their own pace, with the right support around them.
The focus of Snow Camp is on introduction and exploration; getting comfortable in a mountain environment, discovering the resort facilities, and finding out what snow sports might look like for each individual child. Whether it's a first-ever experience on snow or a chance to build on previous visits, the program is designed to be as accessible and enjoyable as possible for all involved.
Who is it for?
Snow Camp is open to Kids+ families with children and young people with disability who are curious about snow sports. No prior experience is needed — just a sense of adventure and a willingness to give it a go. Our therapy team and partners are there every step of the way to ensure each child feels supported, included, and part of the fun.
Why Snow Sports?
Beyond the thrill of the mountain, snow sports offer fantastic opportunities for physical development, confidence building, and creating memories that last a lifetime. For many families, Snow Camp is a highlight of the year.
