About
We appreciate and value the skills and experience that parents, carers and participants bring to Kids+ and we believe there is much that we can learn from you to help improve our programs and services.
This is an opportunity for our clients and parents/carers to give us direct and regular feedback on our work, and to support this initiative we have introduced a Paid Participation policy to make payment for your time and contribution at our Advisory Groups.
The Kids+ Advisory Groups typically meet 3-4 times a year, at Kids+, for 1.5 hours and attendees are reimbursed for their time at an hourly rate.
The benefits
To date, our partnerships between both participant and parent/carer groups has resulted in direct and positive changes being made at Kids+ - none of which would have been possible without you.
Not only is this also a great opportunity for parents and carers to connect and share experiences, it is also beneficial for young people involved to build confidence, advocacy skills, connect with others and have an impact; this experience can be added to their resume!
