Group Therapy: Working Towards Your Child’s Goals
At Kids+, we believe children thrive when they learn, grow, and have fun together. Our NDIS-funded group therapy programs run throughout the school term and during school holidays, offering children and young people in Geelong a supported, goal-directed environment where real progress happens, and friendships are made along the way.
Why Group Therapy?
Group therapy gives children the opportunity to practise skills in a natural, social setting alongside their peers. Benefits include building social skills, developing confidence, forming meaningful friendships, and working towards individual goals in an encouraging and relaxed environment. By learning alongside others, children also gain the added benefit of peer modelling; seeing what's possible and being inspired by those around them.
Our Programs
We offer a diverse range of termly group programs tailored to different ages and abilities. Each program is evidence-based, and carefully designed by our allied health team to align with individual therapy goals, ensuring every child gets meaningful value from the group experience - not just a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether your child is working on movement, communication, social skills, or building everyday independence, there's a group program at Kids+ to support their unique journey.
