AAConnect Online

Kids+ invite you to join us online to further your knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). We want to support you as you support the AAC user in your life. You will have access to weekly learning modules and resources, such as videos and articles to read, which can be done at your own pace. We will meet for five online (Zoom) group sessions across the 10-week course.

Together we will

  • Develop strategies to support the use of AAC and grow as a communication partner

  • Increase your knowledge of your AAC user's systems and device

  • Learn how to assist your AAC user in communicating various words and language functions e.g. saying hello or asking questions

  • Access to available resources for AAC

  • Share challenges and opportunities with your peers
