AAConnect Siblings Program — Supporting Brothers and Sisters of AAC Users
Does your brother or sister use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)? Kids+ Foundation's AAConnect Siblings Program is a fun, welcoming afternoon designed especially for siblings of AAC users — a chance to learn, connect, and make new friends with kids who just get it.
A Program Made Just for Siblings
Being the brother or sister of someone who uses AAC comes with its own unique experiences. This program, facilitated by the Kids+ Speech Pathology team, gives siblings the tools and confidence to better support their AAC-using brother or sister — all while having a great time doing it.
This isn't just another therapy session. It's a relaxed, fun-filled afternoon packed with activities, games, food, laughs, and plenty of time to chat and connect with other siblings who share similar experiences.
What to Expect
When you join the AAConnect Siblings Program at the Kids+ centre, you can look forward to:

Meeting other brothers and sisters of AAC users and building new friendships

Food, fun, and plenty of laughs along the way
Why It Matters
Siblings play a huge role in the lives of AAC users. When brothers and sisters feel informed, included, and empowered, the whole family benefits. The AAConnect Siblings Program is Kids+ way of making sure no one in the family is left out of the conversation.
The program is held at the Kids+ centre and places are limited, so we encourage you to get in touch early to secure your spot.
