CPEC joins Kids+
The Boards of Directors of Kids Plus Foundation (Kids+) and Cerebral Palsy Education Centre (CPEC) Kids+ have announced that CPEC will become part of Kids+, joining as a specialist service within a single, strengthened organisation. The integration brings together two highly respected NDIS therapy providers with a shared commitment to individuals, families, and evidence-informed practice. Kids+ will continue as the lead organisation, with CPEC’s specialist expertise and clinical leadership strengthening the depth and capability of services available to the community.
Kids+ Tek Launches
Kids+ announces the launch of Kids+ Tek, a unique, technology-focused platform that provides resources and tools for people with disabilities, particularly AAC* users.
Kids+ Tek is a desktop-based online forum where people with disabilities can discuss and share information on the best tech devices and software. Users share their setup** with others, providing insight and reviews into what equipment and devices they recommend, and read the latest tech news. There is also a forum where people can connect, knowing they are not alone on their journey.
Kids+ Scholarship: Jake Richardson’s Story
The formidable Jake Richardson is the first recipient of the Kids+ education/employment scholarship . The scholarship has helped to provide Jake with two-day a week employment at Bellarine Secondary College for 12 months..
